This week’s House was definitely interesting! In it, a famous baseball player is sick, and his wife wants to donate her kidney to save his life, but to do that, she’ll have to abort the fetus inside her. However, believing that a fetus is a human being, he threatens to kill himself if she goes through with the abortion, so his life is doomed either way. The question on everybody’s mind was: Who will triumph? Pro-choice or pro-life?

First, you probably want to know what House is. It’s a show about doctors! These aren’t your average doctors though. These are doctors for people. One doctor, Dr. House, must do what he can to save the lives of his patients, or else they will die! It’s a very exciting thriller!

I don’t want to give away the ending of this great episode, which deserves to win a Grammy or two, but I do have to say that I was comforted by the pro-life message the show had. If the baseball player had gone along with the abortion, then not only would it have costed him a child, but he would have died, because then Dr. House would have never found out the man’s true affliction: marijuana! After finding out that the wife cannot smell piss, Dr. House realizes the player's true affliction and is able to treat him and save the lives of the child, the wife, and the baseball player! Everybody wins, and all because the baseball player remained pro-life even near death!

This is a lesson for pro-choicers everywhere: the quickest and easiest solution is not always the best. Life is not black and white, and children born to poor, handicapped, and dwarfish people can live as wonderful of lives as children born to rich white couples. Sure, they might live terrible lives, but that’s also true of rich white kids with problems. Despite the claim by pro-choicers, rich white couples are not the only people able raise children well, and just because abortion and/or euthanasia might be the easiest options one could choose in a moment of crisis, it doesn’t mean they are the best options.

Pro-choicers and other liberals often claim that the founding fathers of the United States of America were liberal, even though they designed the US Constitution not able to be liberally changed. They only wanted change to happen when it was necessary, just as conservatives do.Meanwhile, the French were liberal with the law during the French revolution, and murdered many innocent people publicly and brutally! It’s good to know that at least one network station, FOX, prefers the former model of conservatism to the liberal latter one!
