I want to buy Mario Pinball Land. Haven't heard of it? I'll describe it to you. It's one of the most frustrating games I've ever played! I enjoy pinball, and I enjoy adventures, but I do not enjoy pinball adventures. They mix as well as fried chicken and ice cream. In other words, some people will enjoy it, but most will think that a fried chicken sunday is a bad idea.
But I still want to buy the game. The game play itself is terribly flawed, but the graphics offer the most cutest eye candy I've seen for the Game Boy Advance. I might not enjoy playing it, but I'll enjoy seeing it!
While on the subject of the GBA, I also want to buy a Game Boy Advance SP. However, I already have the Nintendo DS, and it already plays GBA games. It also offers stereo sound without headphones. Sure, it can't play older Game Boy games or make use of multiplayer modes, but I don't have old Game Boy games or friends who play video games. So, why do I want a GBA SP when the DS offers me all I desire out of a GBA SP? Because they're cute. I want to spend eighty dollars on a device because it's cute. Sure, it'll offer me nothing I don't already have, but it's compact, colorful, and cute (especially the Surf Blue model!).
Why do I want to spend my money so unwisely? I know I shouldn't buy games I don't enjoy. I know I shouldn't buy a device whose function is already offered superiorly elsewhere. I could spend the money I waste on such trivialities on more meaningful purchases, such as The Urbz: Sims in the City and the third DVD of Totally Spies! But I want Mario Pinball Land and the GBA SP because they're cute!
