The Easiest Ten Bucks I've Ever Won

You already know of the debacle concerning the report by CBS of a controversial memo that attacks the military record of George W. Bush. While most have already accepted that it's most likely fake, there are some who still insist it might be authentic. They're confident it's probably real, but I'm confident it's absolutely fake. In fact, to show how confident I am, I'll offer something...

If the memo is an authentic memo from Lt. Col. Killian from 1973, then I will vote for John Kerry. If it's fake, then I'll vote as originally planned.

It's not much, but I do hope that others out there place their votes on the line as well. If you're confident it's fake, then promise to vote for Kerry if it turns out to be authentic. If you're confident it's authentic, then promise to vote for Bush if it turns out to be fake. Show how confident you really are!

We'll hold you to that wager, messy. Meanwhile, I am offering up a wager of my own.

If the memo is authentic, I'll vote for Badnarik. If the memo is NOT authentic, I'll vote for the Libertarian Party candidate.

How's that sound?

I will hold you and myself to that bet, Gideon.
