Nazis, Marijuana, and Trench Coats

Today is the day on which Adolf Hitler was born. It is also the day on which two sociopathic teenagers murdered over a dozen of their peers as well as the day to celebrate the use of marijuana. Was it a coincidence that hippies and murderers declared the twentieth of April as a holiday, or were they secretly celebrating their hatred of Jews and loyalty to the National Socialist ideology? It's possible that it might be a coincidence just like it's possible that neo-Nazis were not influenced by Nazis in any way. Still, one must wonder...

For the record, nobody declared the 20th of April as the day to smoke marijuana. 4:20 is the time of day to smoke marijuana, and it has since become a sub-cultural phenomenon to make a point of smoking pot on April 20th or 4-20. I also don't think anyone since Nazi Germany has celebrated April 20th as a holiday per se, including the kids from Columbine, and I think it's rather bold to compare hippies to nazi's, (quite different in their ideologies in fact,) or to suggest that all who smoke pot are hippies, or all hippies smoke pot. Just a few thoughts, and I'm guessing you were mostly being facetious but still....
