How Liberals View the Mafia

I just saw a commercial for the hit movie, The Punisher. I wonder how a liberal feels about the movie...

Can you believe that they're making a movie about a "hero" who goes around killing murderers, rapists, and child molesters? That's the most appalling thing I've ever seen, even more so than when the vicious Allies bombed Germany in World War II when the clear solution was to negotiate a peace treaty with Adolf Hitler, who would have been more than willing to resolve the issue, much like those terrorists who fight to destroy the Jewish race would happily live in harmony with Israelis. Pardon the tangent, but I am tired of seeing movies criminalize vicious criminals. They are human too, unlike fetuses, and even if they don't treat anybody else humanely, we should treat them humanely, because that is the idealistic thing to do. After all, I'd rather have somebody else's entire family raped and brutally murdered than to make one criminal cry, because I care.
In conclusion, I must say that this is a movie that promotes hate, and as such, should be banned from theaters, whether it be by mass protests or an eccentric judge who panders to the left. After all, wouldn't a movie in which the Punisher goes to the Mafia and expresses his grief, which is then responded by the Mafia with love and lollipops be much better? It'd certainly be more realistic.

Arrogant displays of justice are appalling; I cringe when criminals suffer at the hands of a hero that engages in cowboyisms.

I hope you are wrong about liberals, but you probably aren't about some. In England animal lovers were outraged that raptors were released to kill pigeons.

i posted this in your coolsville vs gotham article:

batman = liberal scum?

refuses to kill criminals
hates guns
wears a cape, tight spandex, and lives with a younger kid as his "sidekick"

superman = liberal scum?

wears a cape, tight spandex, friends with a younger male
has a "close working" relationship with batman, who also wears a cape...blah blah spandex tights.
refuses to kill criminals
hates guns (he always crushes them)
most feared enemy is the ceo of a large multinational corporation
supposed boyfriend of member of the liberal media elite and friends with another female member a liberal media tv reporter(i think)
always thinks he knows what's best for the rest of the "little people"

LMAO!!! God that was a truly fucked up way of looking at things.

You guys and your demonization of liberalism...totally fucked up, seriously.

From my slightly left slanted point of view, vigilantism is more liberal than conservative.

I couldn't have said it better myself Russell.

It might be totally fucked up, but it's how some people think. There are actually people out there that think that punishing criminals is inhumane and that negotiations always work.

From my slightly left slanted point of view, vigilantism is more liberal than conservative.

Considering that liberals believe in negotations all the time even when they're not practical, I'd have to disagree.

See? It's just that.

"liberals believe in negotiations all the time"

Do you even have an idea of what it is to be liberal?

Could Europe be considered more liberal than the U.S.? If so, then I think it's rather accurate to say that liberals believe in negotiations all the time even if they aren't practical.
