I'll be honest. I'm biased in favor of the U.S. and Israel. However, I like to think that my biases don't blind me from the truth. If Israel or the U.S. did something atrocious, I would definitely not condone such actions. I'd go so far as to condemn them. I also thought that those against the U.S. and Israel would do the same. I was wrong.
People like to pretend that the U.S. is pure evil while the U.N. can do no wrong, yet with the recent actions taken by its Security Council, which attempted to condemn Israel for killing a "spiritual" leader while conveniently refusing to acknowledge that he was a leader in a terrorist organization responsible for many deaths, I think it's clear to say that the U.N. does not always act morally. Maybe I'm wrong though. Maybe the righteous members of the U.N. (included the beloved France) are right and killing innocent Israelis is a religious experience and not an act of terror. It's a shame that the U.S. vetoed the resolution and demanded that they also acknowledge the crimes of Sheikh Yassin and the Palestinian militant groups if they wish to continue with the resolution. Damn the U.S. and their need to do what they think it's right rather than to do what is popular!
In conclusion, I just want to say that I have absolutely no respect for any group that is so biased that it won't even acknowledge that the crimes of the enemies of their enemies. Even if you're Hitler 2000 and hate all Jews, there is no excuse to condemn Israel's action of killing a leader of a terrorist organization and his bodyguards as an act of terrorism and say nothing about the killing of Israeli civilians who are neither soldiers nor leaders of Israel orchestrated by people such as Yassin. It becomes clear that your hatred of Israel is hindering your ability to see things even minutely objective, and that nothing you say is reliable, as you don't even have the integrity to acknowledge that some of Israel's enemies are wrong as well.
Although I am disgusted by how low anti-Israelists will go to make Israel seem as if it is the ultimate existence of evil, even going so far as to glorify leaders of terrorist organizations that are targeting innocent Israelis, I must admit that it reaffirms my belief that I chose the right side.
